The idea of the scenario is to use the structure of the Passion story in 3 acts

My analysis of the text is that there are 2 distinct sources:
1. Latin Vulgate Gospel. The text appears to be principally from Matthew, although it’s difficult to tell because translations vary
2. Old testament texts: Psalms, Jeremiah and Lamentations

It seems good to keep the chronology of the Gospel texts,
while the other texts can be moved freely to provide commentary
and advance the story, which is apparently
what the medieval folks used them for.
